Charles AllenIn an effort to pay tribute to the men and women who have fought for our country, and give back to those who have incurred a debilitating injury, AM570 KLAC will honor U.S. military veterans on November 12th by hosting a commercial-free radiothon from noon-11 p.m. PT.

KLAC has set a goal of $100,000 and all proceeds will benefit the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA), an organization dedicated to providing rehabilitation, access to medical services, and continuing research in finding a cure for spinal cord injury and disease. The station is encouraging listeners to reflect on all the securities our nation’s military has provided to this great country, and to let our veterans know how much we value their service.

If you would like to donate now you can e-mail, click here, or bid on items in our silent auction!

PVA’s Mission

The Paralyzed Veterans of America, a congressionally chartered veterans service organization founded in 1946, has developed a unique expertise on a wide variety of issues involving the special needs of our members—veterans of the armed forces who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction.

Paralyzed Veterans will use that expertise to be the leading advocate for…

  • Quality health care for our members,
  • Research and education addressing spinal cord injury and dysfunction,
  • Benefits available as a result of our members’ military service,
  • Civil rights and opportunities which maximize the independence of our members.
