Spain’s Newspaper “Marca” report Jorge Garbajosa is choosing Russian league team “Chimki” coached by Kestutis Kemzura. This makes Jorge the 4th highest paid basketball player in Europe only eclipsed by Carlos Delfino, Theodore Papaloukas, and Sarunas Jasikevicius.

His decision comes after his contract with the Toronto Raptors was cut short. His two choices were LA Lakers and the Russian club.

Granted, he is a Euro player - so its not like Childress' move.

Eh, we wouldn't really have much use for him anyways, unless we moved Vlade.
Can an 18 year old go from Zero To One Million by the age of 21?

I'm dissapointed we didn't get him. Would've been solid for a small contract.

Can't believe the economy's playing a role in these players heading to Europe (It has to be right?)... Euro's worth more than the dollar... tsk tsk what a shame
