So, since we got the 4. Pick in the Lottery, what are the options? What could our FO do ?

We have 3 options:

Trade for solid role players to stack the roster around LeBron

Trade with 2-3 young pieces in a package for a Huge All Star like AD

Use the Pick and draft another young talent

What do you think?

Keep it unless there is a very good trade available. We have LeBron for 2 seasons at least. We can outright sign a max player. One more max with a season of improvement and a draft pick that provides anything is something.

I would be cautious. We don't need to panic. We have a good group of young guys, we have LeBron and understood that we should fill the roster with shooters.

I wouldn't give more than Kuz/BI and the #4 for AD. Maybe throw a pick or two in the future.

If they don't trade, which seems highly unlikely I would look for trades, specially for Ingram and the #4. Maybe Ingram needs to play a few months in the season for people to forget the injury but he needs to go as he doesn't fit with LeBron or any other star that we may have in the future once his game is all ISOs and no off-ball movement.
A pick also doesn't fit the timespan of LeBron regardless of how good it can be. It's always a lucky strike and we don't have the luxury nor to wait to see it nor to wait for the development of that kid.
I really hope we don't mess up and I think good trades can be found in the league, this FA will be crazy and a lot of teams are desperate.

What do you think?

Keep the pick and draft a good young player.

Trade Ingram/Kuzma for role players.  I think they have a higher value in a trade for pieces than a star.  S&T for Vucevic is one I'm toying with right now...role players?  Not sure what you have in mind but I'm open to it.

Offer Randle 12M/year for 3 years as a backup plan for C.

We have options.  I don't think trading for AD should be high on the list unless we know we are getting Kawhi or Kyrie.  AD as a #3 is great but AD as a #2 is wack.

Y’all need to get over past players like saying Dlo is an AllStat he is an Eastern Conference Commisioner appointee and Randle still doesn’t fit sorry it’s winning basketball we want not a social club!

Randle is a terrible defender. You all need to stop looking at stats and seeing actual basketball. You defend that we need shooters to play with LeBron and then want Randle lol

We need to trade the pick. A pick loses value continuously, having a big chunk after the draft and then another one when the league starts and the kid start to play. We had Lonzo, Ingram, DLo and Randle as top picks and neither of them are worth AD or Beal.

I wished we had a FO right now. We have so many good assets that can make us a contender this year. But we manage to take actions that lead us to be one of the worst franchises.

We need to sit Pelinka, Vogel and LeBron until the end of the month and set up five plans to attack this off-season.
Also hope we quickly understand if Durant, Klay, Kawhi and Kyrie are off the table so we can move on for plan B like Butler, Middleton, Tobias, Vuc, Beal and so on.
Only by doing so we will have time to sign those 2/3 role players that will make the difference and complement the squad. A stretch 5, a wing and a guard that shoot the 3 over 40%

This is the core we should aim at:

Lonzo
Guard with good shooting
Wing with good shooting
Bullock
Hart
LeBron
Ingram
Kuzma
Stretch 5
FA max
Backup center

If we manage to trade Ingram & Kuzma for someone, then add another shooter to the mix.
If we don't get Kyrie, we should go to Beal
If we don't get Kawhi, we should go to Butler
If we don't get AD, we should go to Vuc
We have to be the most active franchise in the summer, knowing that most of the teams won't deal with us so we need to gain leverage on the Free Agents and pressure teams that may be desperate

Ingram is literally untradeable right now, and everyone needs to accept that, he will need to play at minimum an entire season with no clot issues before a team is going to take a flyer on him, that is the reality of his "injury", he won't be traded for anything and if he is it will be for pennies on the dollar.
