He was being petty with the Lakers.  We made him an excellent offer.  I don't think NOP will do as well during the Summer, because Danny Ainge is a tough negotiator.

If NOP ownership did not want this fallout, how do they NOT override Demps here?

In the 9 years that he has been there, he has not really been that good of GM. A lot of the fans been wanted him fired. I mean he did get, Jrue, lucked out on AD, picked up Julius and... Well other than that, he has not really been good to me

Q: When you take off your jersey for the final time, what will you leave behind on the court?
A: "My heart and soul." --Kobe Bryant

Things are really blowing up.  First, AD had the worst performance of his career, then talked smack about the rest of the team.  Second, he got a shoulder injury (faked?) and left the building.  He is acting like a jerk in order to decrease NOP's leverage in a trade.  This is the power of KLUTCH sports.

it's possible that NOP ownership just wants to try and stop the bleeding.   It seems like AD may strongly dislike Demps.  Thus, as long as Demps is still there, AD is going to make things worse and worse...  If you want to keep me here, things are going to get uglier and uglier.

AD is taking this personally.

If NOP ownership did not want this fallout, how do they NOT override Demps here?

Wasn't it reported by one of the NOLA beat writers before the deadline that he was going to be fired, and that's why ownership didn't want to trade AD since they wanted to let the new GM handle that?

Adrian Wojnarowski: New Orleans has now named Danny Ferry the interim GM, league sources tell ESPN.

Well I don't see Celtics giving up Tatum so with Kyrie gone expected, it gives the Lakeshow a better chance!
