Muscala is better than Zubac?

Right now I'd say that he is

Zubac has good games here and there but the majority of the time he looks like someone that shouldnt even be in the nba.

Zu is exactly the kind of scrub that TLC didn’t want anything to do with. This is why we failed with the AD trade...our kids ain’t worth a thing but our fans overvalue them. Reality check.

In terms of nba 2k ratings. Zu is like a 71 and this guy is like a 73.

Who cares

One more of the Mitch/Buss debacle to go and the team can finally start moving forward in earnest.

And it's a 2 for 1 deal so there's an open roster spot.  Some may run to Anthony to fill that spot, which could happen, but I think Ellington is more likely.

Good deal.

Why are we talking about the potential signing of Melo as a good thing? Dude is a bum

Who said it was a good thing?  Are you making up an argument?

Carmelo Anthony, by name alone, fills up a stadium.

No I'm not turning this into an argument. You said in your previous post that this trade opens up a spot to sign either Carmelo or Ellington. Then you ended it with "good deal".

False equivalency.  Saying "good deal" at any point in his post did not automatically imply he was referencing Melo.  If you want to know if he thinks it's a good deal to get Melo, why not just ask?

How do YOU know that and how would I know that? This is a forum so there is room for assumption (which we all do a lot of). I just think any possibility that any move done by the FO is to free up space for Melo is a bad one. So my apologies to Fido if I assumed wrong.

Zu and Muscala are not the same type of player. Zu is a classic PnR big, Muscala is a stretch 4. This is a win now/mortgage the future move to put another shooter around LeBron.

We now have LeBron surrounded by a bevy of three point "snipers":

KCP
Bullock

Muscala

Lance

Rondo (yeah I know)

I think that's okay. We need to reshape this roster

GCMD is right, asking helps.

I meant the trade is a good deal.  Stop assuming, ask before you leap to a conclusion.

If Zubac was the one of the keys to the future, then the Lakers were in serious trouble.

Dont mind this deal even though the price was a bit steep.

Muscala gives us a stretch-4/5 which allow us to go small and he's both a decent defender and a good shooter.

People are crying over the Zu trade?  The team needs a seasoned floor spacing big.  They got one for a big that likely has no future here...plus they need to gear up for the playoffs.  Im all about developing youngsters but Zu is a bench big at best right now.

People on here overvalue everyone the Lakers have. Never forget Kendall Marshall was the second coming of Magic and our point guard of the future.
