Lakers right now looking at $34.9M (before the deadline) in room heading into the offseason with all the FA holds except for Ivica Zubac ($1.9M) renounced. The fall in the standings has seen LAL lose room because of a potential lottery pick.

Yeah, it fills a need without much cost to the Lakers. I can't see a scenario where a 2021 2nd round pick or Svi would be a deal-breaker in a major trade. The Pelicans were probably just stringing the Lakers along if they claim that.

This would be moving backwards.

And no, I don’t care to watch a Jabari Parker highlight tape. He sucks.

How do you envision playing 41231239123 SGs then when Ingram is the starting SG?

He doesn’t suck offensively

As a backup PF sure

Defensively he’s atrocious but make no mistake, he’s an improvement over anything at backup PF

Agree.

We are actually pretty thin right now in SF/PF rotation. Lebron, Kuzma and Beasley is about the size of it. Considering Lebron and Kuz injuries, if we want to fight for a playoff spot, we need one more able body coming off the bench.

I liked Svi.  I agree that he wasn't used correctly.  If Bullock can move well off the ball and do a decent job of attacking closeouts, it will be a very under-rated trade.
