He can take a few days off if he wants, no biggie.

Well there it is. Hope it's not any longer than several games, which likely means the next 3 games.

I don’t think he misses more than a week. I expect him back on Sunday or against OKC.

Well two games would be called is a "couple" and more than two or three is several. He could be back Sunday, but technically by the word choice in that ESPN article, next week Wednesday vs OKC is the soonest date.

Eh, would make sense if the team actually rattled off wins and he saw it as an opportunity to get some rest and make sure he’s 100%. Jimmy Butler had pretty much the same injury (groin strain, clean MRI, grade 1) on Dec 10 and was back in the lineup on Dec 16. LeBron’s year-round work ethic and training regimen realistically shortens any recovery time in comparison to his peers.

Anyone notice LeBron seems to be walking a bit gingerly when they showed him walking into Staples with a glass of wine? Almost as if he's walking pigeon feet style?

We need to win the winnable games or else we fall out of the playoffs... thus forcing LeBron to shoulder a heavy workload that may expose him to more injuries, similar to what we did with Kobe in 2013.

Slightly gingerly, he wasn’t walking with concerning discomfort at all

His legs were moving relatively smoothly. Looks about a week away to me personally, especially since there was no grimace on his face

That was actually a good sign. Didn’t expect him to play against the kings Sunday anyways

Walking like a guy who strained his groin a few days prior, lol.

Obviously, but I'm having doubts he will be back for OKC

Legit does not matter. As long as he comes back at full strength and not in danger of re-aggravating it. The Lakers will only go as far as LeBron takes them, that is true of every LeBron team and this is no different. They can pile on losses til then and will be better off for it, if they win a few, bonus.

Still 3-4 days away, so we’ll see. I didn’t see him being out that long but unless he’s 100% it’s probably best to rest him until after the Knicks game. OKC is playing well and that could be a loss either way, unless PG continues to sit.

I want Lebron to come back fully healthy no matter how much time it takes, don't rush things.

I thought I was the only one that noticed it. Maybe it's just them skinny ass jeans he has on.
