Russell proving a point, wow.

Lmao I know it's sarcasm but he sort of is. Too bad he's only good as far as his offense takes him.

Here is the thing that I think a lot of people on here can't grasp.  The Lakers team, outside of LeBron, this is the same hapless/young team that the Lakers had last season, except this season the guy who was arguably the best (BI) has missed a huge chunk of the season with injuries and suspensions, and has just taken a step back in general.  This team can VERY easily lose to the Nets, the Wizards, or any team in the NBA on any given night that LeBron doesn't go off, and if you think LeBron is going to just get up and carry the team all season, then you haven't paid attention to his career.  He will win them enough games to make the playoffs, and he will show up big time in the playoffs and take them as far as they can go, but outside of him, there is simply no consistent on this team.  The team is super young, and inconsistent, and you are going to see games where they look great against good teams, and games where they look terrible against bad teams, and that is going to continue the rest of the season and into the playoffs until they surround LeBron with consistent players, which isn't going to be anytime soon.

I think he proved his point for the multiple seasons that he played on the Lakers.  He had some good games for the Lakers, and way more bad ones, and the team lost insane amounts of games.  He will be missed.

If LeBron had the young guys the Kings have, they would be a lot better than the Lakers are right now. Not sure about the Mavericks, that might not be a good fit.

But, my point is that there's plenty of young guys who have been good at the stages the Lakers' young guys are at already.

I mean, we all know we are not a good shooting team, we are good getting to the basket. But this Lakers LOVE jacking up those ugly ones 🤷‍♂️

Definitely a foul by Lance there.

I actually don't blame Luke for playing some of the Lakers' worse players here. The main guys have been awful.

If Kawhi really does sign with Brooklyn, I wouldn’t blame him.

The Lakers are in range, but I don't trust the team to get consistent stops on pick-and-rolls and switches.

The Lakers can't seem to defend at all against offensive sets with the multiple screens. If I'm the Nets, I go back to that a lot.
