Tyson will play well here.

If KCP can become what he has been or Svi as a rookie can take his spot I think we can be solid.

Ok...I'm sorry for singling you out Miggs...this isn't personal.

Public Announcement

The new Rules of the NBA that want to ENCOURAGE Freedom of Movement makes playing good 1-on-1 DEFENSE on the ball almost IMPOSSIBLE!  Please stop calling people out for getting burnt at the top of the KEY!

We lack a good backup at C.

We don't funnel the ball to McGee.

We have the most erratic switching defense in history.

Our Team does NOT recover well.

Our team does NOT talk on D.

Yes Kuzma and Hart have struggled this year on D.  KCP has been in foul trouble because he's adjusting to not being as physical, which is his MO.

Our coaches have not installed a defensive scheme that works.  Last year, we played more to Brooke and Randle's Strengths:  Funnel to Brooke and Switch with Randle.  This year, we have tried to switch with McGee when we SHOULD FUNNEL to McGee.

We have tried to play Kuzma and LeBron at small ball C but that doesn't work because NEITHER of them are being used correctly!

Our Small Ball C needs to:

1) Play off the ball

2) Set HARD screens to free up guards

3) Crash the BOARDS to REBOUND AND PUSH

4) Concentrate on HELP D as much as switching onto guards

If our Small Ball C can't realize that his role is to be the "Dirty Work Guy", he doesn't need to be out there.  We don't need a STAR at C.  We need a GLUE GUY!!!!

I like Luke but he's failing to instill the basic principles we need to be successful based on the make up of this roster.

IMHO, LeBron is not a Small Ball C.  Kuzma is NOT a small ball C.

We need someone like Josh Hart who is about 6'7-6'9 and just gets it.  Someone who wants to play basketball, not be the leading scorer.  Someone who understands the game at a high level but is HAPPY to get his TEAMMATES open more than he gets open.

This coaching staff is failing this roster.  We can do and be so much more but we aren't.  Time to move on.  Chandler helps even out our roster...if it doesn't change things immediately, we need new coaches.

Is the Tyson signing official yet? I’m hearing it but confirmation would be nice.

If we sign him today, can he suit up for tonight’s game?

Played excellent on his first game.

He did what we all want him to do.

Rebound. Defend. Run. Score few points.

If he can give us 20 mins of energy every game. its gonna solve some issues with us

Big boy stuff only. He got away with some fouls (trucked the hell out of soft-ass KAT to get that offensive rebound tip) but it turns out that being a strong 7-footer is indeed a big upgrade at C for this team. He and McGee will give teams trouble down there.

To add on to that, he’s a true vet. Knows how to get away with the little fouls and moving screens that will really help this team. Sounds dirty, but every team needs and has a bit of it.

As long as luke is consistent with subbing tyson for mcgee, we’re good. Need to stop with the small ball line up. That position should be off limits from now on

McGee is perfect for Plan A. Chandler is perfect for Plan B.

Who needs leg day when you can rebound like that?
