I rarely say this but I said as ssuch when he was signed. He’s a ball handler

But he’s not above ball or rondo so he’s gonna have to find his place at SG.

I really hope luke makes the right decision when rondo and Ingram come back and buries KCP

McGee/ Williams/ Wagner
Lebron/ kuzma
Ingram/ svi
Hart/ Stephenson
Ball/ rondo

Something about this lineup clicks. Kuzma moves off the ball much, much better than Ingram and that’s beneficial to the pace and to the entire offense. Not to say I don’t want Ingram starting, but I’d really like to see him tone down the ISO’s.

Alright, I only saw a small portion of the game so my summary is limited tonight.

Good:

  • Low turnovers
  • Lots of steals
  • I like all of the cutting and give-and-go plays
  • Lance looking good tonight, from what I saw
  • Kuzma and Hart still playing out of their minds
  • KCP was a bit more active...still not playing as well as I thought he would do though =/
  • Williams playing a decent backup C. 5 rebounds 1 assists 7 points on 20 minutes and setting some good picks. Got bullied in the paint at times and sometimes looked confused -- will do better when he bonds with the team more.

"Bad":

  • Zu looking weak
  • LeBron missing a lot of easy shots
  • Lakers did better tonight on their defense. They really did. But, I still want to see less uncontended 3s taken by the other team.
  • SVI didn't look too great tonight. I'd still like to see him get some more opportunities.
  • McGee looking gassed later on in the game.

Highlights:

  • First W of the season! Woo!
  • Awesome setup from Lance to Lonzo there in the 4th quarter.

Too early to say because kuzma struggled even early San Antonio game

It was kinda then when it clicked and he got aggressive

Ingram was starting to play better offensively against Houston and then obviously everything happened

So I have to see him comfortable with lebron before I make that type of decision

Also hart makes a big difference ball movement wise and spacing wise

He’s just better as a scorer, cutter, passer and shooter than KCP do the lineup automatically is improving

Also rondo is still a better player than ball but he holds the ball much more than lonzo

Overall ball movement improves with him in there. I’d like to see the

McGee
Lebron
Ingram
Hart
Ball

Lineup for a couple games before I make that switch

I remember making that thread last year about KCP being selfish and how much he sucks.. Yet lakers still sign him for another year..
