Kuz can't play the 5, he just can't and I hope Luke will do something about it. Noah?

I know home court in the nba is SOO over rated.

Are you expecting us to lose every road game?

The Lakers are mostly stuck with the roster until December 15th. That's the earliest some FA signings can be traded, and they make up a lot of the roster. This team hasn't really been aggressive in season in the past, so I'm not holding my breath even for that. KCP and Kuzma better figure it out, or the Lakers' season will go downhill really quickly.

One thing the Lakers could do right away is to sign a C. I think even the kind of players available as free agents right now can give a better interior presence than they currently have.

So we lost because of some supernatural force that helps Portland win season openers?

And Lebron hasnt won an opening night since joing a new team. So what’s your point? Pssshh

Well pretty much the moral of the story is that we're very easy to beat if we can't hit our shots and if we cant get rebounds. Those issues are not fixible as our team consists of undersized streaky shooters. Least Ingram gave us hope.

No we lost because of defensive lapses and not being familiar with each other in game crunch times!

The Lakers have the same issues that they had last season. I don't know how you can argue that. The panic is that it's the same old stuff. To me, it's game 83 of the current issues they have.

They're not going to the playoffs if they don't fix them.

Spot on IMO. It almost seemed we played the same way we did last season. Lackluster offensive gameplan. Little to no defense down the stretch. And of course, [expletive]ty 3 point shooting.

The main positive change I saw is that we pushed the pace a LOT more. The biggest negative change: we got wrecked down low by trying to go too small too often. Definitely need to re adjust the strategy moving forward, on a number of fronts.

There are very few easy games in the western conference. The Lakers shot very poorly from 3 and they were competitive against the team that came in 3rd in the western conference and returned a majority of their players. A loss was expected, just like a loss is expected to the Rockets. This team will be fine long term, the blazers are a good team who absolutely own the Lakers in Portland.

Svi needs to suitup

Javale cousin, your gonna have to tough it out and give us 30 minutes a game till reinforcements come

Javale had a great game

We might as well re-up Javale and Rondo now for like.. 4m/yr for 2 more years, something like that

"positionless basketball" is getting carried away, Kuzma aint a center, and Portland don't even have the best frontcourt and this is just game 1 in the west

Cmon Bron, post up, I know you can do it

Portland would give us Meyers Leonard for our 2nd round draft pick (which would be a good early 2nd round pick)

OKC would give us Nerlens Noel for Josh Hart

Mehhhhhh
