I would take magic all day -any day over James if we are strictly talking all time pg

Well, i think James is the better player between the two. And if you look at the definition of being a PG i think Lebron check all the boxes. Thus, James > Magic.

Imagine Magic today...

With how wide open the game is... he would average 15 dimes... possibly 20

Excited for  1. Lebron! (Still love me some Kobe, but damn this guy is amazing) 2. Another big get (Whether in FA or in a trade we need some attractions and closers) 3. Young Guys making big jump (Assuming we have anyone left after more necessary moves either genius ones or in desperation)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

He would have more coutig numbers for sure.

Look at Hardens assists. Westbrook. Are they better passers or have the vision of Earvin Johnson?

Good thread

Prefer ranking in tiers.

Tier 1 – GOAT-level: Lebron James

Lebron has a case as the GOAT and if BigO, Curry and Magic are PGs, so is Lebron.

Tier 2 – All-time great:

Magic and Big O (Magic the better of the two).

Not much to say. Clearly a level above the rest of the field.

Tier 3 – CP3, Curry, Stockton, Bob Cousey, Isiah Thomas, Kidd, Nash, Walt Frazier.

I think you could make a case for all of these guys and they’re really close.

Sorry but there can never be a GOAT as different rules opponents and eras so it can't be a fair comparison except in Barber shops! lol Oh and LeBron is not a point guard!!

LeBron isn't a level above magic in terms of passing

This is funny re Lonzo.  If we are talking all time greatest PG highlight reel.....White Chocolate!

BTW probably about half a dozen posters on this forum already wanting to place Lonzo somewhere between 2-10

Magic was a way superior passer and probably had one of the best court visions ever. And Magic can play other positions when needed.  he was just a more complete player than Lebron.

Name one game that Lebron played in the playoff that he filled in someone else's position and was a key factor in winning.

Also give King James the nod on this one.  By the time he's done, we may see LBJ in top 5 all time assists, top scorer of all time.  That's a #GOAT.
