If so cheap, why did not we just gave him that? I'm really puzzled with these last couple of moves. Not that i don't trust in Rob and Magic but i just don't get it. Randle for 9 mil a year may be the best deal of the league right now.

Its a bargain i think too.

But Kuzma at 1.5 is downright ridonkulous

I'm gonna miss Randle.

Improving at a nice clip.

Filled up a stat sheet.

Got a lot smarter.

AD, JR and Jrue is a pretty good up and coming big 3

Excited for  1. Lebron! (Still love me some Kobe, but damn this guy is amazing) 2. Another big get (Whether in FA or in a trade we need some attractions and closers) 3. Young Guys making big jump (Assuming we have anyone left after more necessary moves either genius ones or in desperation)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Why didn’t we sign him? That’s so cheap.

Gotta believe we have big plans for next summer, and didn't want him on the books past this season.

Fully believe we would have signed him to a one-year deal, but if he was going to play on a one-year deal, he wanted to go some place where he could get more minutes and increase his value heading into next summer when there will be more free agent dollars available.   Plus, Pellies gave him the added security of a player-option for '19/'20.

Had he stayed in LA on a one-year deal, his role would reportedly have been reduced, and he was concerned that he wouldn't attain the level of production needed to maximize his value next season.

NOP got a good deal for the MLE.  IMHO, he was worth about 2 times that...Mintz really shafted PG13 and Randle...D'Angelo should be shopping for new representation right about now.

Randle should have fired Mintz Sunday evening and retained the services of Klutch Sports.

Lakers are done with Mintz.

We pretty much swaped Randle for Rondo, but Julius will be missed, sucks we couldn't keep him. Wish him the best of luck in NOLA.

UKUGA what’s this D12 return nonsense? I don’t even want him to watch our games! Epic Fail, not Laker material we have enough personalities now and enough bigs!

Yes Randle improved greatly but should have used his outside shot it was deadly in practice but hidden in live games!

D'Angelo Russell

Paul George

Julius Randle

What do these people have in common?   They were all connected to the Lakers or on the Lakers and they are all represented by Aaron Mintz...if you want to blame anyone for Randle and PG not being here, blame Mintz.

Still doesn't seem real that we could have had Randle for LESS than his caphold and he's not a Laker!  I've been critical of Randle but he didn't deserve this.

Mintz...

People sometimes eluded to Russell and Randle and PG having the same agent but who would have thought it would go down like this? Just goes to show how much of an impact behind the scenes stuff has on the game that the average fan really doesn't know about. I don't buy for one second that Julius turned down our one year deal for the security of a 1+1.

Nearly all the players Mitch & Jim drafted have been kicked out; Ingram & Zubac will be next.
