Jonathan Givony Retweeted Los Angeles Lakers

Lakers were obviously super high on Bonga. They shut him down VERY early in the process after bringing him in for a workout, and traded Chicago's 2019 2nd rounder to make sure they got him (also had #47). Bonga didn't work out for any other team, and didn't send out his medicals.

Well hopefully they’d give Andrea a shot in Summer League as he can shoot which we need!

Lineup questions and predictions:

I'm pretty sure Zu, Bonga, Svi and Moe will start the season in the G-League, although Svi and Moe does seem to fit the system pretty well.

I think a few guys are locks in the starting lineup and i'm pretty confident that Lonzo - KCP - Ingram will start as the PG, SG and SF respectively.

But who starts at the 4 and 5.

Is it Lebron at the 4 with one of McGee, Moe, Zu or even Beas at the 5, or do they go small with Lebron at the 5 and then put in Kuz or Beas at the 4?

And where the hell does Lance fit in?

He's not really an ideal fit with Rondo and he really shouldn't take minutes at the 2 from Hart.

Bron not starting at C.
Kcp and Zo vs Rondo and Hart.
Either 1 of those 4 can start or lead a bench

Agree.

But i also think BI and Kuz might be battle to start if we can believe Magic saying only LBJ is a lock to start

Tend to think BI is the most likely starter after Bron though

Excited for  1. Lebron! (Still love me some Kobe, but damn this guy is amazing) 2. Another big get (Whether in FA or in a trade we need some attractions and closers) 3. Young Guys making big jump (Assuming we have anyone left after more necessary moves either genius ones or in desperation)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

I'm assuming starting lineup will be: Zo / KCP / BI / Bron / Mcgee

LeBron definitely won't start at the 5, but we will see our version of the death lineup with him at the 5 at times. The 5 spot is a tricky situation for us as how deep we are at that position is completely unknown.

Mcgee will only be able to play limited minutes in short stints. Is the primary backup Zu or Mo? Zu looks much slimmer and fit now, but he hasn't shown consistency and is still not as mobile. Mo can stretch the floor and is mobile, but it remains to be seen how he acclimates to the NBA (our defense will most likely struggle too with him at the 5).

I'm assuming we'll see all 3 rotating and getting some playing time.

Zu running the length of the floor has always reminded me of McHale
