Today is a GOOD day!

So, how's it feel to be a playoff contender again Laker fam?

Worst fears realized.  Did not want this guy on our squad.

So much worse than Kobe rupturing his achilles.

Some people..

Excited for  1. Lebron! (Still love me some Kobe, but damn this guy is amazing) 2. Another big get (Whether in FA or in a trade we need some attractions and closers) 3. Young Guys making big jump (Assuming we have anyone left after more necessary moves either genius ones or in desperation)

Never been the biggest LeBron fan, but always acknowledged and respected his greatness. I was always hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst. So thrilled he's a Laker and is gonna' help my team be seriously relevant finally again. Hopefully we get to see us pass the Celtics in all-time titles during his 4-year tenure.

somehow i don't think Lebron will be in the finals the upcoming season.  Laker will be in the playoffs, but Lebron isn't bring us to the promise land.  the recent final proofs that and the worse thing can happen is him messing up our youth's developing chemistry.    Lebron is on the wrong side of 30 and approaching 35 soon. his style is too ego-centric but yet passive-aggressive -- with the way this contract is signed, looks like he wants to get paid while looking good.

Lebron is an extremely calculating person.  he factors in reputation/championship/money all together when he sign contracts.  In LA, he would look like a mentor to the young and if he doesn't win, it is ok if he doesn't win.  If he stayed in Cleveland and took the max, I don't think he would look good not making to the finals in the Eastern Conference, since this year they barely beat Boston, and 76er is coming up.  It is likely that Cleveland would not survive next year.   But in Western conference it will be ok for him to lose to either Houston or Warriors next year.  And with our young talents growing up, he get get "help" once they mature while getting paid.

There no pure haters or pure fans.  It's just the ignorant and the observant.  The pure haters and pure fans are the ignorant, while the rest are the less observant or the more observant.
