Green was bordrrlime garbage his first 2 seasons with minimal.impact overall. Year 3 he started to peak and given his age i can expect he wont get much better

What does that have to do with Lonzo. You guys are comparing him to current Draymond Green.

You know how many players were better than 2nd year Kobe?

Duh....
Bc Kobe was 18.

Draymond was 23 or 24 his 2nd season.

Zo is less seasoned but damned good

Once again, what does this have to do with Ball?

Ball is in no way measured by another players growth that doesn't even play the same position that came into the league with a completely different career outlook, potential, and expectation.

There are players that were better than Draymond after his second season, yet they are far below him now. Players don't grow or evolve similarly simply because of their role or age. There is no correlation between Ball and Green.

How many players were better than Kawhi year 1? Didnt Blake Griffin with ROTY Kawhi's rookie season? Is he better than Kawhi? Is Mitchell going to be better than Kawhi? Booker? Tatum? Ball?

What about the players that were better than Paul George? Or Steph? Or Nash?

19 year old rookie Kyrie was certainly better than a 2nd year 19 year old Kobe

I’m thinking a lot of these arguments no matter which side you’re on will be relatively solved by December. If the youth shows incredible growth I’m guessing outside of a couple people everyone will be very happy and optimistic

If they’re relatively the same quite a few people will be unhappy

If they’re worse I’d imagine everyone outside of a few people will be unhappy

Moreso with Ingram but ball falls into this category. Hart to me kinda already is around what he’ll be. And I mean that I’m a good way. I think he’s a starting level role player, and I’d argue he’s already that

But the other guys we’ll have to see what happens now that the game should be easier for them
