Idk where an entire season came from

Was gonna say, that’d be the worse torn meniscus in sports history

Also I believe the lavar ball stuff. Timing is borderline hilarious

Really? Damn this sucks. He can't work on that god awful shot if he is doing rehab. This is also the same knee he had that knee contusion in. Wonder if it never healed right and this happened because of it. Wouldn't be the first time our training and medical staff didn't get a player properly rehabbed.

All I want for Christmas is a Laker girl :D

Lets just hope this tear is the injury from last season and not a new injury. If its the one during the season that would mean he's fine and this really isn't a big deal. If its new then this whole offseason will be wasted for him.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball has a torn meniscus in his left knee, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Ball is expected to be ready for training camp next season.

Ball, the No. 2 pick in the 2017 draft, played 52 games for the Lakers, averaging 10.2 points, 7.2 assists and 6.9 rebounds.

He missed a total of 30 games his rookie season because of a sprained MCL and contusion in his left knee.

This implies its a new injury. Damn

So surgery for Ball?

Excited for  1. Lebron! (Still love me some Kobe, but damn this guy is amazing) 2. Another big get (Whether in FA or in a trade we need some attractions and closers) 3. Young Guys making big jump (Assuming we have anyone left after more necessary moves either genius ones or in desperation)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Ok so they diagnosised him with it at the end of the season but he's fine now

Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball has a torn meniscus in his left knee, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Ball was diagnosed with the injury at the end of the season and has gone through recovery options to treat the minor injury and find the best route for his long-term future, league sources said. Ball is expected to be ready for the start of the season, league sources said.

So this is basically non news.

We really need to hire a new medical training staff.

I agree with everyone else -- the timing of this doesn't seem right.

[Laker Film Room] Three things here: 1) It's his left knee, same as the previous issues. 2) Shams describes it as a minor injury. 3) The Lakers diagnosed this at the end of the season, so this isn't new to them, which makes the timing of this news...interesting.

From LG:

Momo on espn 710:

Lakers don't leak this type of info in the summer.
Info most likely from Lonzo's camp.
She's not sure why.
She doesn't think anyone is worried though.

From her understanding it's the same injury.
