Raptors peaked this season and it ended by getting swept by the cavs.

Dwane Casey may just be the first coach to be fired after getting the 1st seed in a conference (unless I'm mistaken-ed and this has happened before).

That would be unfortunate.

He did such a good job.

There were a handful of surprise teams in the league this year and Raptors were one of them.

(Celtics, Blazers, Pacers, even Rockets to some degree)

Pretty good NBA season imo.

With LeBron somehow able to completely flip the Cavs narrative in the course of a week

Excited for  1. Lebron! (Still love me some Kobe, but damn this guy is amazing) 2. Another big get (Whether in FA or in a trade we need some attractions and closers) 3. Young Guys making big jump (Assuming we have anyone left after more necessary moves either genius ones or in desperation)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Blatt got fired with the number 1 record right?

Warriors over Rockets in 5.

I'm gonna say 7. Curry looks like he lost a step on defense coming back from the injury (watch Kobe's latest episode of Detail where he points this out), and they will attack him in the PnR, Spain PnR, and every other variant there is. No home court advantage either. And small ball won't work on them.

But the Warriors are more talented, and should take it.

OK...

Just me or does Embiid look exactly like a Klingon, no makeup necessary?

Not sure exactly how good the Celtics really are and i'm not sure how bad the East really is.

I sorta expect the Cavs to still win in 5 and while i may eat my own words in a few hours, i think the Warriors are going to demolish everyone from here on out. For some reason people seem to forget that the 73-win Warriors added Kevin Durant and more or less sleepwalked to the title last year. The Rockets are fine and all and shoot a bunch of 3s, but i kinda get the feeling that the Warrior's season just started.

Giving credit where it is due, Danny Ainge is an excellent GM.  He's built a solid roster that would have owned the East and at least been competitive in the finals without injuries.  Trade down to take Tatum and get a draft pick, trade aging stars for high draft picks, pull the trigger on the Kyrie deal at just the right time, unloading an overachiving IT and weakening an opponent all in one move.  Recent FA signings of Horford and Baynes.

The Celtics are still sitting on a mountain of draft picks (4 first round picks next year) and tradeable young talent.

And Stevens ... he's the reason they have gotten this far.

Young talent, excellent coach and draft picks.  Hard to pull that off.

In all likelihood they'll get the Kings and Grizzlies picks in 2019. Unless the Grizz finish in the bottom 8 which could happen but might not depending on health. Could be something like the 6th and 10th picks. Crazy.

Like seriously how the [expletive] isn’t Brad Stevens coach of the year? If the Celtics has Kyrie and Hayward holy [expletive] Lebron would get swept and it wouldn’t even be close.

All I want is Celtics beat the cavs so I won’t see lebron in the finals for 8 years straight. In addition, Celtics losing in the finals would be cherry to the cake.

Amazing coaching by Brad Stevens. Hope Luke is watching the Celtics defense and taking notes.

Tyronn Lue is way out of his league this series.  Lebron vs 5 guys that can defend and score, passing to spots, with almost zero defensive rotation for the Cavs.  Their defense is getting exposed big time in this series.
