Lonzo Ball had a restriction of 20 minutes last game he played. It’ll go up today in Atlanta. Luke won’t say if he’s starting yet.

Lakers need to dominate this game. They tend to play soft agaisnt bad teams and need to get away from that.

IT, a 27% 3 point player, keeps taking those horrible 3s, I don't get it.

You don't break out of a shooting slump by not shooting.  We know he can hit it so I have no problem with him shooting 3s.  It would be different if Randle was shooting ten 3's a game and shooting 27%...

LFR put out a video on IT with the lakers and mentioned hes a very poor transition 3 pt shooter. This is even before the injury. Sadly thats where most of his 3s come from because hes usually open then. Much better of the ball shooter though.

Lots of fouls called in this one...messing with the flow and pace of the game...

That may be true but the previous post didn't specify transition.  Shooters go into slumps because of psychological issues, not mechanical.  Only way to fix that is to keep shooting and gain confidence.

Lonzo started shooting well so that’s a plus. People rag on Thomas but he’s made a world of difference for our big men. Randle was playing well before Thomas came but he’s looked even more efficient with a legitimate guy who can break down a defense

Well, both awful IT were in transition, so maybe you aren't watching the game?

Gotta clean up the TOs
Luckily we’re playing D and hitting 3s
If this was a better team we would probably be tied

I dont care that lakers are up by a bunch. Awful half. Poor passing, lazy play, giving up easy layups that Hawks just aren't finishing. Lakers need to come out the 2nd half and end this game in the 3rd. I've seen them blow leads just like this agaisnt garbage teams before.

Even if IT’s shots aren’t falling he’s so much more of a playmaker than JC was. It’s instantly noticeable the way he operates out of the PnR with Julius and Zu. He’s exactly what this team needs in the backcourt...and I’m banking on him getting better as his health does.

I like this team a lot.

IMHO, this is how they develop.  This style and pace makes you turnover prone.  Incorporating IT and reincorporating Lonzo is bound to throw things off a bit.

Marathon, not a sprint.  I see progress and confidence building every game.
