They were paying horrible on defense the entire start of the game when IT wasn't playing. Actually lakers were on track to 170 points durring the time IT wasn't playing so blaming him makes no sense here.

Lol it definitely was happening with him on the bench as well.

Defensive basketball isn’t that simple. The Celtics were one of the best defensive teams in basketball last season with him playing major minutes

I saw the whole game. I saw KCP getting blown by, hart getting blown by, Ingram etc

Wasn’t just Thomas. Sure he played bad defense but he ain’t the cause of this whacking

100% Agreed.

Problem i see coming up is how many games together Ball and IT will end up playing.

Not a lot left. Both still on the mend and not 100% even when that time comes.

One thing...both guys change the game.

Wish we had more time to figure out if IT worth keeping.

Definitely more fun to watch on offense.

And i was surprised it was his show to run for so much of the game  where guaranteed he doesn't even know everyones name yet on team or coaching staff

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

Experience coupled with the talent will prevail! Some of you are not fans but band wagoners in disguise we’ve seen the likes before when Wilt came, Kareem, Shaq too
