Im in the camp that if we dont get PG this summer, hold off for 2019... I see no rush.

OMG please tell me you are joking. This has gone on long enough. We dont need one more year!

Why this offseason? These moves weren't Bron or bust.

I believe the FO is creating the flexibility in cap if opportunities present themselves whether this summer or next, we dont have to blow our load this summer.

Im in the camp that if we dont get PG this summer, hold off for 2019... I see no rush.

If we strike out summer of 2018 and 2019 Ill join your trolling.

Except if we can get LeBron and CP3

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

There’s pessimism, then there’s you.

That will be the reality of the situation. This will finally be the offseason that wakes everybody up. There are absolutely no excuses to be made this offseason. We have a ton of cap space, and legit trade assests. If we strike out, it's simply because nobody wants to play here.

It's a good deal, we've got a late 1st round pick and dump some salary. I just hope to see more Thomas Bryant now that Larry's gone, and very little of Frye. JC was a spark from the bench, but with him gone Hart will definetely play important minutes, and that's a good thing. And we're keeping Randle :)

He will be resigned once we strike out and so will Lopez.

Lopez
Kuz
Ingram
Ball
IT

Isn't a terrible lineup as long as everyone stays healthy. Probably could fight for that 8th or even 7th spot next year.

You should. It's the same damn franchise! So in two years when they get removed, are you gonna reset the timer again?

That's ridiculous. The fans have heard the same bs for far more than 11 months.

IT is obviously damaged goods, but I have a very positive feeling about him. I think he will surprise a lot of people, I think he will mesh well with Lonzo, and don't be surprised to see the Lakers sneak into the playoffs as  a 7th seed.

you proabably would have killed yourself during the 90’s and talked [expletive] that the lakers traded vlade for a skinny kid named Kobe

Even the more patient fans are starting to feel the weight of the last 5 years but I see change on the horizon.  While it's unfortunate we weren't able to get a day one, home run talent like Porzingis, Towns, Simmons that might attract a star more easily I still think we're in a way better position than we were 2-3 years ago.  Randle, Russell, Clarkson, and Nance were our only youth, divided ownership, stone age authoritarian coach, broke down Kobe.  If I were a star free agent I wouldn't have signed up for that either lol.

I’d argue Ingram is close to a homerun talent and id argue kuzma is borderline as well

Ball I’ll have to see in year 2 and closing out This year but outside of kuzma I’ve liked his rookie year more than any player we’ve drafted since kobe

He’s actually shown flashes. But I don’t think we’ll have even close to an accurate picture until next year. Has to say healthy

I think we can cut the FO some slack. No one saw Clarkson and nance for IT + Fyre + First Round Pick.

And in the off-season, even if PG13 decides not to come here, that’s not indicative of the Lakers being a non-destination. If we strike out in the ‘19 off season, THEN we can say the lakers aren’t a destination.

For real though, if PG13 doesn’t come here that’ll be pretty whack and I can understand your frustration. But if you want to hang the FO, you gotta give em some rope first.
