Da Clippers got the better end as both players stay healthy and not flashy but way solid to build around.

Its probably for the best for them to move on from him. They are in a total rebuild so Deandre isn't really needed. Odd they didn't try to trade him for something though. I don't think people would have been to upset if he went for a 2nd and some cap space. People know clippers had no leverage there.

Wondering what Detroit think of Griffin now that the honeymoon is over.  They got beat by 20+ by the best team in the East.

Clips are in the worst place to be in basketball.  9 seed with a veteran roster trending downward.  Only "young" talent they have is Harris and Rivers who both turn 26 this summer.

I would think that Detroit actually has it worse, stuck with Drummond and BG's contracts, 9th seed, massive payroll, minimal talent around those 2, minimal draft picks.  SVG is gonna get fired at the end of the year (they will still owe him) and leave a dumpster fire behind him.  At least the Clipps had the good sense to sell to someone dumber than them.

I just meant in terms of general team building but yea Detroit has it bad too. At least Griffin and Drummond are a talented duo that compliment each other well. Imo they're a bad team because their guards and wings are bad. Lots of lottery picks and trades that ended up netting role players. Gotta get lucky at some point and they didn't. Might be wrong but I think they took Kennard the pick before Mitchell. Same position, that hurts lol
