The Clippers have agreed to a deal to send Blake Griffin to the Detroit Pistons, league sources tell ESPN.

Sources: Clippers, Pistons are finalizing a deal that would send Blake Griffin, Willie Reed for Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley and a draft pick. Multiple players involved have been informed of deal.

WOW!

That's a terrible deal. I guess they are in tank mode now and are going to start over.

Ciippers are officially back to being awful. Pistons made out in this trade big time. Blake should have netted them much more.

WOW. How can the Pelicans, Pistons, and OKC land superstars yet the Lakers remain so stagnant. Sigh.

After CP3 exited, they were in an unstable state. The current record suggested they should have made a move with the pieces they had. And they did. I expect Jordan to get traded as well for a lottery 1st.

Good riddance.

Literally just signed a big contract this past off season.

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

You think they'll take Deng, a 2nd rounder, and a bag of dicks for DJ?

If it were me, I’d just take the bag of dicks.

Damn the trading season opened with a big one.

Not a fan of the deal from the Pistons point of view. Blake is great but they will be tax payers from here on out with a team that doesn't really make all that much sense on paper with limited shooting, zero wings and no way to really improve. And i wouldn't be too excited about paying Blake close to 40 [expletive]ing million 4 years from now.

Clippers shuffled the deck and could potentially make additional moves that puts them in contention for a major free agent in the summer.
