New Orleans All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins has initial diagnosis of a torn left Achilles’ tendon, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. He’s on way now to get MRI to confirm.

Sucks. He was playing like a beast and Pelicans looked like they figured it out. Smh.

The dude just had a career threatening injury, and this is your first thought?

Get better soon Boogie

Poor timing sure but I don’t think it’s career threatening. He’s young, and the surgery has gotten much better. He won’t be exactly the same but I think he’ll still find himself to be a very productive big man

It's sad to see such a promising player suffer an injury like this.

I feel lakers have to now look elsewhere in FA if Boogie was part of plan A

Excited for  1. Lebron! (Still love me some Kobe, but damn this guy is amazing) 2. Another big get (Whether in FA or in a trade we need some attractions and closers) 3. Young Guys making big jump (Assuming we have anyone left after more necessary moves either genius ones or in desperation)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

At some point, they will have to make a move that will take some cash. And I ain't talking about Deng and Moz players either

I’d take Cousins if the deal was right and if we had LeBron.

Whats the right deal?

What if Boogie agrees to a discounted 20 million a year coming off an achilles?

Its a very big gamble.

Players may come back quicker than they used to from that injury, but they aren't the same and changing their play may or may not work.

And may or may not lead to other injuries as they compensate either intentionally or unintentionally

The last thing lebron wants is cousins at this point. Lebron what 34? He’s not going to hinge his future on a guy who won’t be right until 2019 at best

I think lebron either wants George or wants to team up with the guys in Houston
