lol so did I. Randle beasted. I didn’t see the game but there are only so many gimmies a guy can have to inflate his stats. And he came off the bench so maybe he was just beating on the rockets bench, but he could have been our beast off the bench 😭.

Definitely rooting for him and wishing him all the best with the pelicans.

The second I saw the score of that game, he was the first stat line I checked.
It'll be interesting to see how and if he evolves.

Julius randle coming off the bench for 23 minutes with 25 points 9-15. 2-4 3pt 8 rebs and 3 assists and 0 turnovers! Great game for him

Roles and opportunity matter.  Randle likely plays well but he wouldnt get that same opportunity here with the players we have.

Ranode could play Center here. Would have been great too but no other FAs would have joined

We looked good, we simply need to hit some 3's... no way we shoot that poor again or often.

We need a guy like Stauskus, that guy would be solid in our offense.

We have a guy like that in svi. Stauskas has been awful for about 98% of his career. We don’t need a guy like that

I’d rather see what svi has considering he’s at least an unknown. Stauskas is a known scrub

I agree, I believe I mentioned this (Svi) in another thread... I would like to see Svi get some minutes!

Wagner looks ready to go. Full 5 on 5 today. Big body who hustles and can shoot, will be much needed.

Randle has shown that he's not going to just stick to the role that simple. He COULD play C here but he wants to be a core piece.  Randle isn't disciplined enough to simply run the floor, set hard picks and rebound.  What Randle excelled at offensely last year would not fit with this team, therefore his role would be regulated to backup C.

There's no way you pay a guy like Randle was going to sign up to play 18-20 mpg.  At some point when the rotation shortens he was going to be the odd man out.

People keep thinking LA could have simply gave him the save deal.  Playing in NOP for a 1 year deal makes 10x more sense b/c he'll be able to showcase his full potential and get paid and maybe start somewhere.

Lance needs to be out of this rotation soon.  The team has enough shooting on the roster to make things happen but you can't double down on the lack of elite shooting by playing a non shooter.  Svi isn't ready but those Lance minutes can go to Ingram/Kuz/Hart.

It aint too early for a 9 man tight rotation, especially since the team needs to build chemistry early with the core pieces.

It’s way too early imo for a 9 man rotation. Lakers should be experimenting with players early so that there can be a solid 9-10 man rotation later

Guys like Beasley, svi, and Wagner need to be thrown out there to see what they can do with this roster

The first 10-15 games of the nba regular season are basically more meaningful preseason games

Lakers can’t shut anyone out yet because they have to find out what works. Can’t go into playoff mode 1 game in

You don’t earn a 9 man rotation until you see who the best 9 are and who fits together the best

Lance adds toughness and swag.  He needs to play more, not less.
