Forward Jamil Wilson is signing a 10-day contract with the Lakers, league sources tell ESPN. He's expected to sign Wednesday, play Thursday. Wilson averaged 7 points and 43 percent three-point shooting on a two-way with Clippers.
Hope it works out. Lakers need a spot up 3pt shooter bad. More I read into it looks like Clippers were really hoping they could resign him after waiving but apparently he just wasn't getting much time because his position was crowded.

I have a feeling we are gonna try for Cousins around the trade deadline.

REPORT: Jordan Clarkson & Lakers both have “mutual desire” to get traded BEFORE the trade deadline. Not really surprised since JC knows he’s gone, just hope we can get a like two 1st for him, AT LEAST.
We'd be lucky if we move him without adding incentive.

I def won’t mind if we can get Nerlens Noel. Would love to see him with Lonzo
I wonder if DAL would do JC for Noel?

It's not unreasonable that they would consider it. Something apparently went afoul when it was discussed a few weeks back, though.

Would you pull the trigger if you were Rob and Magic? Cuban?

I think the Lakers would like to see Noel play within the system and find out what he can do. He's more of a defense-first/true-defensive center than is Randle. He's a Rich Paul client, and the Lakers FO have a love affair with all things Rich Paul, at least until this July.
I think the Mavericks are more interested in the prospect of Randle as a long-term piece than Noel, and might be intrigued by having his Birds rights.
Nonetheless, the Mavericks expect to go into the off-season with cap space, and I would assume have bigger targets at the center of their bulls-eye than Randle. I would think he'd be a fallback option for them, as I expect them to aggressively pursue James, George and Cousins. Cuban is always after a star.
Deep down, I suspect previous discussions halted because the Lakers had been trying to figure out how to unload Deng in virtually any deal. Accordingly, it wouldn't surprise me if they started down that path with the Mavericks, then the Mavericks asked for a handful of draft picks, etc., and the deal was dead.
Plus, there was no real deadline pressure then.
Those are my thoughts.

So would you pull the trigger on a Randle or JC for Noel?

JC without a doubt. There's no question. Multiple year deal for an expiring contract.
Randle, probably. He's most likely gone, and it's a chance to see whether or not Noel is a better fit. Personally, I think Randle is a better, more dynamic talent than Noel, but that doesn't mean that Noel doesn't more closely align with our team's needs (both on court and financial).
