Adding someone that can get 20-25 at will vs someone that can give you 12-17 right now does not exactly = WINS

That's the point im trying to make.  Sure Boogie could come here and avg 25/12 but the current record is the same then what?

That's the type of impact Boogie has been KNOWN for as the best player on the team.  Not many wins.

But I am not talking about Jrue or AD. I am talking about the Lakers. Who have more if a talented roster than AD and Jrue.
Answer the question. Would the addition be better than Robin's productuon

That DLo trade continues to look worse and worse lol.

Not really. Lopez is still a huge expiring and Russell’s knees (which were bad here) seem to be getting worse

When’s the last time that he played. I feel bad for him but let’s be real here

If we didn’t make the trade we’d have a bum kneed Russell with an albatross mosgov contract

And Kuzma, don't forget Kuzma.

What's looks bad are the Mozgov and Deng signings.   Those signings have had the greatest negative impact on this team over the last 18 months.

Would you rather have DLo or Kuzma? I'm glad they made the trade. Forget about Lopez, we got Kuzma for DLo! At the least that trade was even.

From on the court DLo is still the better player easily.  Dude was avg 21/6/5 in less than 30 mpg before going out.

You could have had Kuzma w/o trading DLo

How so? We got the pick from the Nets that got us Kuzma. I don't see how we get Kuzma without that pick.

Unless the Jazz would have skipped on Kuz at 28 and the Spurs at 29... he could have fell to 30 and the Lakers would not have selected Hart. It would have been possible but why take the chance?

Ppl still talking about Dlo.. lol

Bet those numbers compare pretty close to Dame in his 3rd year

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Damian is a master scorer from everywhere. He gets anywhere he wants on the court

Russell is still mostly a perimeter scorer

Also Russell sat some games with knee issues with us and had problems with his knees. And now they’re worse in brooklyn

Hope he gets over them but it’s never the best sign when players have knee problems at 21 years old. Doesn’t speak well for a long and prosperous career

D'Angelo also only played 12 games and shot only 30% from 3.

Lakers had the 28th pick and unless the Nets were going draft Kuz at 27 he was falling to LA easily....
