And Lakers are a joke at boxing out and grabbing rebounds, so this game is lost

Why was Ingram boxing out Draymond?

This guys get away with a lot of fouls, Green fouled ingram just beneath the basket on that rebound.

Great game by Ingram, only one big mistake no boxing out in that missed FT. But this is a well documented Laker issue, we're a disaster at boxing out, and this is pretty basic and fundamental.

Against the best, it's often the little things that make the difference. Ingram had a great (statistical) game, but when it came down to it...he got taken to school by some wiley vets.

BI has to realize how good he is and how great he can be. When he drives to the basket he's unstoppable, either is two points or FTs (or and 1). I think the problem comes when the defense starts to adjust, because most of his drives comes out of iso plays, so he starts to get rid of the ball after he gets stopped or turns it over. That's when the Lakers should run some plays to put him in a cleaner position as a cutter or slasher, allowing him to keep getting to the rim taking less dribbles (or even none) and facing less defensive help. He must learn how to stay aggressive because he can become a real go to guy in the near future. Of course, some shooting consistency would help a lot too, especially at the free throw line. Still, really excited about the kid, he has been showing a lot of improvement.

Foul on BI, no call on Hart leading to a Curry travel call, also i'd say Green pushed BI for that rebound.

Very mad how this has ended!

Fell asleep.

Watched 2nd half this am.

OF NOTE

BI with a monster game.

Ball with a monster 3rd quarter.

Maybe my favorite laker game of the season

When you stay with GS all game long and have a chance to win on last shot in reg...

Maybe my favorite play of the game was when Swaggy took an airborne tumble over those seats and the 2 players there the fastest to check on him were Clarkson and Nance! (former teammates, not his current ones)

Ingram goes to the hole better than any laker since Kobe about 5-6 years ago.

Though Clarkson is really good around the rim too

Walton maybe misused timeouts playing those last 4 minutes of regulation with only 1 but i'm not sure that ended up making a difference. Usually it would

Heard Billy Mac say Randle was 2nd best player in NBA on PnR to Capella on houston.

Someone should tell GCMD who's gone AWOL if he can't bich about Randle as Jody noted a couple days ago

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!
