And at one time Bynum was considered one of the best centers in the game. So what.

Bynum was good for what 2.5years?

Bogut was an elite defensive big man for almost a decade. It's not the same thing

Elite? Did Milwaukee know? He looked good in a bench role on a championship team. Embenga did the same LMAO

Easy to say that now. Embid was unstoppable.

Embiid looked good tonight against Randle (who is a 4 playing 5) and one of the worst defensive centers in the league in Lopez. I don't think this level of production is sustainable for him.

Probably not. To suggest Bogut would’ve done any better is a reach all I’m saying.

I honestly don’t remember him on Embid. Only time joel missed was when he was on the bench. Nobody was stopping him period.

It's not about stopping. It's about making life harder. Bogut did a much better job of that. Embiid started coasting on Randle

That is true but sometimes it’s your night. It was DEFINITELY his night. Maybe Bogut should start for Lopez. Then maybe embid wouldn’t have got going. It’s a waste arguing.

Crazy thing is, as great and dominant a game as Embiid had, let it not overshadow completely the game Simmons had as well. He was mighty impressive. What a duo they got goin' there. If Fultz ever manages to be something, my goodness.

yo.

All those years of blatant tanking paid off.

Obviously it’s not sustainable. The only thing sustainable about him is being injured, which will absolutely be the story of his career, great potential doesn’t do anything when you are made of glass and there is too many examples of this to even list when it comes to centers.

Like I’ve said before I don’t care I’ll draft Embiid number one overall. Simmons didn’t do bad himself either damn near a triple double. Knew from the jump that these two would be something special and sixers got both of them. Sixers have two generational players. Lucky bastards!
