LNJ passes up too many open shots too. Set-ups from Lonzo that Kuzma would easily take. No confidence it seems.

yo.

KCP gambles a lot on D and sometimes he's not where he's supposed to be. He's a good defender, but also overrated. Very small sample, but for me Hart has been doing things better at D.

I like pope's defense. His offense is super streaky tho. His first game back to me was fool's gold

Agreed. His height is going to get him at times though

Should have been a easy win by the way we started. Say goodbye to any momentum this team was getting.

I don't believe we'll have any consistent momentum with this team at any point. Too young. Luke needs to be smarter with his lineups. The truth is he has to open his eyes. It's been what 3 straight games where the second Lopez and nance go out we play better basketball

Obviously they aren't a good pair

Solidified things

Randle is our backup C and should stay there
Clarkson and hart are our backup guards

But other than that some tweaking has to be done. Lonzo is our future. Make his life easier by idk starting our best offensive forward kuzma. Ingrams our future as well. Make his life easier by idk starting our best offensive forward kuzma

We have no spacing no fluidity because nance is offensively stupid and Ingram can't shoot oh ya and neither can KCP

So let's start all of them, have Lopez in the paint and expect lonzo to somehow be effective

I was pissed when he went all starters in 4th. The bench was doing a good job, should've kept Kuzma and Hart or Randle in. Then he takes our all starters for bench players and that's where he lost me. This is definetely on Luke.

I love how people blaming Luke when the team as a whole couldn't hit a 3. They are young guys, it's going to be a struggle. Luke probably could have made better subs late in the game but honestly the team lost it, just like every game it's a team L.

Luke has to be smarter. Who are our best offensive players?

Lonzo
Clarkson
Kuzma
Randle
Lopez

Why is it 3 of those 5 guys are on the bench?

There's no balance in these lineups right now. If the lineups suddenly became

Lopez
Kuzma
Ingram
KCP
Ball

Randle
Nance
Brewer
Hart
Clarkson

Well oddly enough suddenly there's balance.

I agree with you where you place Kuzma the better shooter next to Zo. But that bench lineup needs shooters too.

And unless we don't use shooter heavy lineups, the moment they take out our transition, we are lost on offense. This is such a big and glaring flaw!

We could have won this one, that's what make this L so frustrating. Luke just doesn't understand what momentum means. We were competing, the energy was there (the offense not so much, but still...) and then... the nonsense, just another team on the floor...

You know it's bad when all your starters have minus in the +/-
Nance -14
Ingram -15
Lopez -21
Ball -15
Pope -17

bench
Randle +14
Kuzma +4
JC +4
Hart +8
even Brewer +3
peep this

ENNIS +6

Wowzers

Randle +14 Hart +8... TAKE THEM OUT LUKE!!! I mean, WTF? And then, taking out the entire starting 5 at the end? WTF was that? Punishment? Is that suposed to be good teaching for Lonzo Ball? This was so frustrating, I'm still so [expletive]ing angry!

It's all on luke and he inspired me to name my review after him: WTF Coach!

https://steemit.com/...7-wtf-coach-2-3

I give grades independent from other games and stats. They are mostly out of eye test. I gave Ennis an F and he ends up +6 :D these stats are so useless...
