Ball needs to fix his jumper

The only part that needs fixing is the "going into the basket" part.

Last night was crazy for LA sports, glad we got a W in Lakerland at least

Anyone else notice Lonzo always tries to put a flair on his layups all the time? I swear he'd make more of them if he quit trying to switch hands in the air or finger roll. Even when hardly being contested he makes unnecessary switches in mid-air

great game, won this with defense, and probably the wizards not taking this stopped seriously...lot of bad shots, missed good shots, and turnovers, when u win a game like that, you played some D

What do you mean not taking it seriously? Multiple players on their team went out of their way to talk [expletive] on the Lakers and their players. Quality win against a team with way more talent and big play in crunch time by very young players. A great regular season win that the squad from the past few seasons loses nearly 100 percent of the time. Can't really ask for much more from this team than games like that.

on some level, i don't think they completely brought it...they thought this would be an easy win, that's why they were talking [expletive].  Most very good teams are notorious for that.  I'm not saying they were playing at 50%...if they're playing at 100% in the playoffs, they're probably at a 90 tops against a "bad" laker team 5 games into the season.

obviously still a great win.

It's kind of funny reading that from a team like the Wizards. If the Wizards played in the West, they'd be on the bubble in terms of even being the 8th seed. So to hear from them that just simply "respecting their opponent" is all it takes for them to play well....is well....hilarious. It's an excuse for not playing well, not a compliment to the Lakers.

Yeah it's kind of weird that he's talking as if the Wizards have it figured out in their own way. They're really a meh team and will go as far as Wall will take them. Beal did look nice last night though.

Wiz 1 major piece away though.

Boogie?

Brook?

They could finish #2 in East and they have 2 more all stars then we do.

We need to make a bit of noise thru 1st half of season

Lets not get cocky yet

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!
