How often do you see a coach fired mid season then a new outside coach is hired?Almost never. It’ll be someone off his staff or someone already familiar with our team. Like a Brian Shaw. [expletive] Luke.. he has earned the right to nothing as a head coach. Time to abort. And we are desperate to make the playoffs don’t get it twisted. That’s what they were selling from training camp.

Bye for now

He doesn't even have the character of a coach. RS too laid back. He was a mediocre player and a mediocre coach to boot

He needs to go no matter what. There are bad teams and teams that have no plan at all. The Lakers have sufficient talent, they have no plan whatsoever. If they are coaching defense then they are doing a real bad job.

this is all over his head. he kind of is getting a bad wrap. yea, he has bad rotations, but he can only do so much. the bench is not giving the team anything. 7 pts vs memphis, no BIGS strong enough to body up versus  the other big guys.

Lol, I really want Luke to be the coach of this team but his rotations are beyond defensivable. My god.

I don’t think it’s a foregone conclusion he’s gone, either. It hasn’t even come up with the front office this season. Jeanie loves him. Magic and Rob recognize they gave him a weird roster to work with. The injuries.

People get mad at Luke because we compete with great teams and even beat them due to his style but also it seems we lose to bad teams.

It’s the roster. Just like OKC is now semi elite with Billy Donavan so can we with some shooters opening things up.

Jeanie can love him all she wants but if we [expletive] around and miss the playoffs Lebron is going to want him gone. There were reports that his camp wasn’t fond of Luke anyway.

Two coaches I've been high on the last several years Mike Budenholzer and Kenny Atkinson. Would kill to have either over Luke right now.

If we missed the playoffs? That is all but a foregone conclusion. I don’t see him coming back.

Fix the roster first then worry about getting a coach. Which is what the Warriors did prior to hiring Kerr.

Locking in the right coach BEFORE free agency could help the process. I don’t see anyone excited at the idea of playing for Luke.

Ivica Zubac said he did not have "nights like this" with the Los Angeles Lakers after the Los Angeles Clippers' win over the New York Knicks.

Zubac and the Clippers celebrated a 128-107 victory against the lowly Knicks in NBA action on Sunday.

Croatian Zubac and team-mate Michael Beasley were traded by the Lakers to the Clippers in a deal for Mike Muscala in February.

And Zubac – who recorded seven points, 11 rebounds and five assists against the Knicks – appears to be enjoying life with the Clippers after he said: "That's how we gotta be.

"When I was with the Lakers, we didn't have nights like this. Every game was a close game for us, but now with the Clippers, this team is really locked in, every possession against every team."

Zubac is averaging career highs in points per game (8.6) and rebounds per game (5.4) in 2018-19.

The Clippers have won their last two games and sit seventh in the Western Conference standings with a 36-29 record. They will face the Lakers on Monday.
