What about anything I said was an overreaction? It was a pretty thorough analysis if you'd bothered to read any of it.

To be honest I didn't see us running many plays other than isos and PnR. 3-4 guys on the court would be standing around with little movement. We're not the Rockets and can't afford to do that.

If we had Pop coaching us, you'd see something Iike that.

Luke Walton is not who we thought he was, I can agree with that, and fans patience is limited. But NOW is not the time to fire him, after one single game in the season, it makes no sense.

Lakers fire him in the fourth game.

It was the first game, we have to wait and see how it goes. If we keep playing like we did last night Luke won't be able to keep his job, we all know that, he knows that too. Yesterday we saw amateur basketball played by the Lakers, there's no FO in the NBA that can tolerate that kind of trash for an entire season, process or no process.

What offense would you guys prefer we run?

Clearly what we are doing right now isn't working.

MDA's offense won't work here. It is too much PnR and requires a lot of shooters, which we don't have.

Like I stated in the OP, you don't want to run that much PnR. It leaves guys standing around and uninvolved, so their energy level drops. Kerr articulated this very well, which is why the Warriors run it the least in the league. Instead you want to rely on great playmakers you have, and we have some decent passers in our lineup.

We've already seen how guys like Randle react when they're unhappy. Imagine making him sit on the perimeter play after play, think he'll play better defense after that?

BFF you haven’t been through the building processes I imagine but “all” young teams have growing pains, even experienced players who start to play together have to make adjustments so I’m saying what we’re you thinking was going to happen with a very short preseason there will bea time of losses but eventual winning ways will surface.

I refuse to believe that Luke and our coaching staff are that bad and unprepared. We have to be patient and give them some time, but at the same time there's nothing wrong with beeing concerned. I mean, after last night if you aren't concerned there's something wrong with you as a basketball fan.

Why didn't we have an offense after training camp then

We have 8 new players in our roster and you want the offense to be ready after training camp? I've already said I'm concerned, starting Deng at the 3, Ingram at the 2, players that have no idea of who they should be guarding, too many iso plays, forced shots, etc. With thay beeing said, firing Luke now makes no sense, at all.
