Luke has made questionable decisions so far this season, but putting our longest and most athletic guy on Lillard was the best thing he could do.

Great offense > great defense every single time. I mean we Lakers fans should KNOW THIS. Kobe Bryant was the prime example of this.

Putting our best defender on him was the best thing we could do.

What Ingram did was not great defense. Well you could say given his skillset it was the best option, but at that point you're literally choosing between an open 2 and open 3. Either of those would have sucked, but I guess the open 3 is better.

If we had KCP on him, he could have made Lillard choose between a contested 2 and contested 3. I'd rather pick between those.

Bad offense in the 4th again.

Couldn’t even tell what they were trying to do in the 4Q.

Lonzo entered the 4th, with 8/8/8. I actually thought he might make history.

Ended the game with 10/9/8.

JC is good when team needs buckets and iso offense, but shouldn't stay on the floor for too long.

I'm still not seeing this "not a great coaching performance" thing.  Please, tell me what you would have done differently?

Coaches can't make open shots for them.

Coaches can't play defense for them.

Coaches can't make passes for them.

At some point, you have to hold the players accountable and realize that some of these players have a long way to do as far as growth.

The only gripe I have is a lot of the offense seems to not be installed yet.  Too much standing and not enough off-ball screens/movement.  I believe that more will come as they become more comfortable but it's hard to watch this offense sometimes because there are a lot of missed opportunities.

Luke is coaching just fine.

Tonight we missed way too many FTs and didnt focus enough on tuenovers.

The Bucks length at the rim had the Lakers second guessing themselves.

Phil used to say a team needed 50 games when acclimating so many new faces (4 new starters)

Luke has seem to develop Clarkson and Randle into efficient players. Nance was being utilized to his fullest while still developing Ball, Ingram , Kuzma and Josh Hart.

Its funny because even the best 1 and done players need about 3 seasons in the league to truly be impact players.

If OKC and Cavs meet in the Finals and Boston trades for Boogie ( MEANING WE GET NO BIG NAME FREE AGENTS) i think Luke is what rhis team needs.

If somehow flipped every asset except
Ball Ingram and Kuz.... losing Randle and Clarkson and Zubac and Hart and Nance and Brook and KCP but shedding Deng and Brewer
And somehow we ended up with

Ball
Paul George
Ingram
LeBron
Bogut(?)

Kuzma off the bench
Some vet min ring/fame chasers

Maybe you see if Rick Carlisle is available... but other than him and Pop and Stevens who is for sure an upgrade?

Spo on Miami for one

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

The next Laker practice should just be everyone shooting freethrows until they make 1000.

But coach, if we take that many shots we'll be too spent to rub one out later

Luke has been making the right adjustments game-to-game. He's a keeper. The only fans that seriously want him gone are impatient and delusional

almost as delusional as Lebron becoming a Laker and wanting Maverick Carter to become coach lol

Lakers driving in the paint on mostly isolation plays got predictable so he started having them do give and gos

If you run anything way more complex than that right now for a team that for the most part really only has this season together, it's gonna fall apart

It was pretty awful to not double Embiid until near the end of the game.

double wasn't the answers shooters everywhere and embiid is a good passer.

just needed a bigger man on him so he doesnt score as easily

I don't want to fire Luke, but games like this make me wonder about what his strategy is exactly. Is winning totally unimportant to him? If so, carry on then.
