Dude people said the same when I criticized Russell...look how that turned out.

Ball is seriously useless in the half court. He needs to play next to a guy like Lebron or Harden so that he can play off Ball in the half court. He is going to look awful on this roster.

Waayyy too early too reach any sort of conclusions like that.  Maybe you're right, time will tell.  But your knee jerk reactions conclusions are completely unfair to a rookie player in his 1st game.

You guys that were expecting some immediate or big turnaround were fooling yourselves.

All the anger about this team as if they were going to accomplish something this year cracks me up.

If your team isn’t named Warriors or Cavs, this is another waste of a season.

Nah the problem is that we've regressed

Nothing like a positive, motivational. and highly inspirational post by fido as always to reignite my passion for the Lakers.

Thanks for always being there!

RIGHT?! All that hype from summer league lmao. Couldn't believe that so much on here took that bait -- including Magic Johnson himself!

well, the youth is showing under the brighter lights of the regular season, lets hope they can shake it off in the 2nd half and look decent

I just wish we would stop drafting players with "unique" skill sets and just go with what is proven to work in the current nba.

It’s game 1, and they’ve regressed? Hahaha! Good god and people called me negative.

Again, if you thought a brand new super young team was somehow going to be a powerhouse (in game 1 no less) you need to step back and take a breath. This team’s win cap is 30. I said it before and nearly everyone roasted me for it.

Young teams don’t win squat in the NBA. Never have, never will.

So many insisted the Lakers go young and play this lottery game. Well here they are, they did what you ask and now everyone complains. When people like me said to go veteran win some youth here and there was nothing but attacking me and others. You can’t have it both ways. Young teams lose - and often. You wanted this, now deal with it.

Gonna be pretty hard to be as bad as last year, but i give the lakers credit for trying to be

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

I do?!

Hahaha! I’m angry that so many Laker fans attack a realistic viewpoint speaking from experience. Angry person? Hardly. I’m a realist and sometimes that dose of reality isn’t swallowed well. You asked for a young team, this is what you be. But so many act like they couldn’t see it coming. And when you were told what was gonna happen you attack before listening.

Not angry, just perennially shocked at the blindness of so many fans.
