The ball was somewhat moving before we decided to iso BI. Why? Does Luke try to make him learn from his mistakes? Ingram forces too much and i feel it's what the coaching staff want. Does not make sense.

Very nice Ingram. Good finish.

Ok, they gave the ball to Ingram, two bad midrange shots and one soft drive that got blocked. Again, I don't mind this, it's the preseason, this are the games you use to teach and test the young players. But once the season starts one thing has to be clear: he's not ready for the offensive leading role, far from it, he needs a couple of years to grow and learn. López and Randle should be offensive options before him.

I think the problem that people are going to have with Ingram is that he's a #2 pick who is clearly being outplayed by lower picks like Kuzma and Donovan Mitchell.

It was a better game from him today, but trying to force the ball to him as a closer was too much. They need to bring him a lot more slowly than this.

That's got to be the most long-winded way of saying that Caruso should be the backup.

Ennis is a better shooter, but Caruso is a better defender and rebounder. Their passing skills are comparable.

Their basketball IQs are not, big difference there. With Ennis on the floor the Lakers offense is more prone to iso plays, less chances of finding the open guy.

Remember me sayin Caruso needs time to replace Ennis? Time's up :D Give the kid the role, just don't rely on him too much. Use Caruso to push the tempo and utilize most of some hybrid lineups (like Randle or Nance as center against small lineups). But if you want Bogut or Lopez to operate with the bench, Ennis is your guy.

I don't see that much of a difference shooting-wise btw, yes Ennis has better mechanics and stroke, but he is always shying away from shots. He does do a better job when he is wide open.

Oh and great to see JC back! I am leaning towards a Clarkson-Randle led bench mob. Ball-KCP-Ingram-Kuzma-Lopez has excellent spacing. Caruso-Clarkson-Hart-Randle-X can be an interesting line-up. Of course this is very rough, i am a fan of having at least one veteran on the floor all the time, or at least Ball when other starters sit. But with enough work, we can find 2 decent lineups.

What are your thoughts on Luke btw? I am not gonna tell mine for now to prevent any influence on your thoughts :D

Good things happen when all 5 players on the floor are thinking about attacking the paint instead of chucking up contested jump shots as the shot clock is running down.

THANK GOD for Brook Lopez. When the passes and cuts have run their course we need someone that can post.
