I remember someone saying Lonzo was an "average athlete"...LOL.

That still cracks me up...and yes, they were saying Russell wasn't a below average athlete.

Can't wait til Randle and Clarkson are off this team

Clarkson would be worth keeping if he wasn't in the way of free agency. But he's actually a good fit next to ball for stretches

Neither really bother me. Randle shouldnt start though.

Neither bother me.  Not thrilled with either as a starter though.

Not really bothered but they are the most tenured of the young guys are arguably the most far behind.

Nothing wrong with Clarkson on this team.  Most of the hate towards Clarkson is a deflection from Randle.

Depends on what you consider average. As far as starting PG's go, he's certainly closer to average than he is elite.

Clarkson is a gunner, yes...poor defender at time, yes.  But he has every skill you need for an off-guard.

Randle lacks most skills to be a PF.

Not the same.

Disagree on clarkson being behind. I think he's just right where he should be. An above average scoring guard

Randles development has been slow

Well both statements can be true.  DLo isn't explosive but he wasn't a below average athlete.  Lonzo isn't exactly a top tier athlete either.  He's definitely more athletic than DLo is.

If that's your opinion, fine.

If you are seriously making that claim, I call bull.

Not to mention athleticism is also more than one thing. I think ball has very good bounce and straightline speed but he's pretty average quickness wise

They aren't close to each other as far as athleticism.

If Lonzo is average, Russell is below.

If Russell is average, Lonzo is above.

We shouldn't have to argue about that...

Name one thing where Russell is more athletic.

Point of the statement was they aren't the same.  Lonzo is a better athlete than Russell.
