Well that dream people had of Westbrook coming here goes out the window. Let's hope Paul George doesn't resign.

Not surprised.

Very happy for the Thunder as well as Westbrook.  He's going to be the face of the franchise for years to come.

Believe it or not, I actually think his presence on the team will actually be what ultimately pushes Paul George away and influence him to leave this offseason unless Westbrook alters his game.

Westbrook is a tremendous athlete, fearless competitor, and probably obviously one of the best guards in the league.  However, he's not exactly easy to play alongside in that his usage percentage is historically high and he's primarily a playmaker off the pick and roll and finds big men down low which often limits touches wing players that play alongside him.

Unless the Thunder make the Finals or give the Warriors a real fight in the Western Conference Finals (6-7 game series), I still think their is a good chance we land PG.

To be honest didn’t see Westbrook as good fit to begin with since we have ball

Dang..that's a nice chunk of change. Well, good for Westbrook and OKC.

Good point. I think the Lakers can use Ball very similarly to how they would Westbrook, especially if Ball has a similar impact on the boards as he did in college.

Magic: Hey Jeannie, get ready to fork over some more tampering money

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!
