Cool. He won't be bad filling in when Brooke misses games.

That's a weird signing. Has Zubac looked bad in practice?

Matters little

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Not a good sign for Zubac but good backup for us. He is a very good center in our system. I'm sure he will be injured a lot though.

Andrew Bogut's contract is a one-year, partially guaranteed deal. He'll have to earn his spot on the Laker roster with a solid pre-season.

Eh

Great move. I've always been a big fan of Bogut who is one of the best defensive bigs over the past decade.

A couple of points:

The way i see it our big man rotation already is deep as hell with:

Randle - Nance - Deng - Kuzma

Lopez - Zu - Bryant

All our 4s need minutes to either develop or increase value and for that reason i actually expected Randle and Nance to see minutes at the 5 with Bryant (and maybe Zu) either getting garbage time or being sent to the D-League. With the additon of Bogut there will be fewer available minutes at the C for Randle and Nance, so it could be another sign that the Lakers are looking to cut down the rotation a bit during the season.

If Lakers think Zu and Bryant are key pieces of their future, i cant think of a better defensive big man to learn from than Boguet - or for that matter a better offensive big man to learn from than Lopez.

The Lakers are reportedly concerned that Brook Lopez could miss part of the preseason with a back injury. https://t.co/d8qUx5eGHz

So, Lopez injured.

Zubac looked clunky and awkward in summer league.

Bogut recovering from a broken leg.

We've hit the tri-fecta!

Zubac may get the Anthony Brown treatment this year.  Zimmerman is a similar player. He better not get outworked.

Should we maybe have an OVER/UNDER which game he makes it to before next injury cuts his season short?

With Cavs it was his first game (maybe even the first PLAY)

We never tanked just sucked, if they were going to tank they could have lost a few games at the end but won them instead, happy with the future and will
Love to see more fast play and solid D, could be dreaming there
