The Baylor / Worthy debate is tough.  Both were so damn outstanding, you can easily make a case for either being the best Laker at their position.

Nick Van Exel over Gail Goodrich?!  Huh?!

And no Mikkelson anywhere else on here?

I loved Horry and Green but in no way were they better than Mikkelson.  And the fact that Goodrich isn't even mentioned is odd to me.  Dude is a Hall Of Famer and a retired number, but everyone ignores him.

You guys need to study your Laker history more.

Wait, are you saying Worthy over Baylor?
I love me some Worthy, but Baylor was the man among men.

I'm going
Kareem
Baylor
Bryant
West
Johnson

and I'll take Wilt over Shaq any day.

No. Opposite.

Baylor easily over Worthy

I don't see how you can even make a weak case for Worthy on any level.

Granted he won more championships, but Baylor was MJ before Jordan and televised games.

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

A strong case can be made for Worthy.

Yeah I see absolutely no case for Worthy over Baylor, it's not even close. You can't be comparing supporting stars to franchise players, it doesn't make any sense.

Just peep the difference when you compare their few seasons playing without Jerry West/Magic Johnson. That should tell you all you need to know
