Brad Turner @BA_Turner
Lakers and Clippers will meet opening night, and it's a Lakers home game on Oct 19, per source.

Multiple sources claim the schedule will be released this week, likely tomorrow.

Wolves @ Lakers on Christmas.

I look forward to it, you think they wear Christmas jerseys or can we expect the MPLS HWC? Not a fan of the Christmas jerseys. Give us that Baby Blue and Gold for Christmas.

Definitely Christmas, but Nike will be putting together something new for them so you never know what they have in store.

I do hope they wear the MPLS classics often though, we haven't seen those in a while.

Dont give a f#%k what they wear.

Want to see some W's for a change this season

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Warriors are a well oiled machine. They are going to embarrass the Rockets that night

I feel like the season openers are always against the Flippers or Houston

I feel like the season openers are always against the Flippers or Houston

it's cause they are
expect for 2015 (kobe last year ) we open vs the Timberwolves at home and 2011 we opened vs the bulls (lockout season)
And then 2012 vs the mavs ( Dwights only season with the lakers )
But basically most of the time we open vs the rockets and clippers for the past 10 years

Mike Bresnahan @Mike_Bresnahan
Lakers have only 13 back-to-backs, down from 16 last season. It's all part of Adam Silver's drive to spread out games, reduce injuries, etc.

Mike Bresnahan @Mike_Bresnahan
One last schedule note (I think): D'Angelo Russell returns to Staples Center to play the Lakers on Nov. 3.

Mike Trudell @LakersReporter
Soft early season schedule: 6 of the top 7 favorites in Vegas to win the NBA title don’t play LAL until late November.
