I dont know if this thread already exists, if YES then Im really sorry but just out of curiosity, I wanted to know which movies are your favourites of all time?

Are there any movie franchises you watch on repeat once a year?

It is hard to pin down one favorite movie, but the ones I watch again and again are:

- A Beautiful Mind

- The Lord of the Rings series

- The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Mine is clearly:

LORD OF THE RINGS!!!! For myself, still after 16 years of the fellowship release, this is still the most epic franchise in my opionion.

Ive got them all, blu rays, books from tolkien and the audio books. I just love the storys of middle earth..

Second comes forrest gump.

Tough question from Manaro. Too many to list. One I like a good bit is Point Break. Bank robbery. Surfing. Sky Diving. Cops chasing bad guys. It's always a satisfying watch to me. I like Django Unchained a lot as well.

Great cast. Val as Doc Holliday is iconic. Powers Boothe is an all time great villain. The only misstep IMO was Brandon Walsh.

I mean that cinema poster gives me already nostalgia memories and chills...

I was 11 years old in 2001 and we stood infront of the cinema security. movie was rated PG12 and she asked me "HOW OLD ARE YOU?" , i was so fat and shy and i was like " 12..." LOL

I think she knew inside I wasnt 12 ...but anyways she let us in..

this movie made my childhood. after that I bought the action figures lol. Bought me a set of frodo ,sam and gollum and Baumgart the tree of isengard forrest lol...

then the hobbit came and closed out the middle earth series.

now I have all the blu rays, the tolkien books and even the audio books and the fellowship poster in my room.

One day I will fly to new zealand. But its just so [expletive]ing expensive a trip to new zealand is really like 5-10,000 €.... man...

Never seen any of the LOTR movies. Is it better to watch the hobbit movies first?
