Brook Lopez gets his revenge with 34 points and 10 rebounds in a 124-112 win over the Nets. The last Laker with 30 and 10 was Kobe Bryant in 2014 according to Lakers PR.

Cool fact:  I am running the Tri as the coach of my son's team.

Play: 1 passes to the 3 and cuts to the short corner, 3 post entry to the 5, then screens for the 2 while the 1 cuts baseline to the opposite wing,  2 cuts past the pick to the open area and gets the kickout from the 5 for the open three!

I am actually using this Word doc on the Triangle I got from an old poster on LakersTalk many years ago (went by Wilt...I think he is still on LG). It's a great writeup with detailed play diagrams. The Triangle is the perfect offense to teach young kids team basketball.

I consider the Triangle Offense writeup the property of the Laker fan community: if you want a copy of it, PM me and I will gladly share it.

One of the really cool things I learned after reading it is that the Triangle (or at least many of its sets/actions) are alive and well in the modern "pace and space" NBA.

Kobe day monday (tomorrow)

Spectrum was promoting a 2 hour block of programming before game and jersey ceremony.

Congrats Kobe. My all time favorite Laker warts and all

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

No Jaime Maggio involvement anymore though smh. Still a major loss. One of the few good things Spectrum had to offer.

just watched this whole video, and the end of it made me legit tear up...that last game was surreal

and watching this as someone who was lucky enough to have seen his whole career...it's scary to think that it's noticeable how many great moments were missed in a 20 minute long video.  the man worked so hard, so happy for him, can't wait for the statue

Watching Corey Brewer act a fool during Kobe's ceremony was disappointing.

Loved seeing Kobe take some of the attention away from him for a moment and pay respect to those before him including several in attendance. Real classy.

That was really awesome. The shirt had goat under the picture too, but I’m sure you know that by now. Where do I buy one?

We all miss the excellence and fiery determination of Kobe, entirely lacking in today’s group so far, and no one shown the mark of a leader.

I'm hearing some rumblings  that the #metoo #timesup movement is targeting Kobe after his Oscar nomination. They want to dig up the past and go back to Eagle, CO again....because that we didn't get enough of that circus the first time around. Someone call up Shelly Smith!
