Yeah but that’s the thing tho. The only thing Randle needs is a reliable jump shot. That will take time. Jump shots take a lot of repetition, and it can take years. If I was magic which I think magic loves Randle, but he gotta keep him and allow him to keep growing. Seems to me Randle needs more time to develop. Some people develop slower some faster. He is coming around tho. U just can’t give up guys like him. A lot of good out weights the one bad thing he does. With that quickness and power, versatility in today’s nba works wonders. He is a mismatch every tonight. Plus he plays defense, gets rebounds and can give you assists, and plays hard. Sometimes the person you’re looking for is staring you right in the face. I’m banking on Randle. One of our own. He’s proving it. Through the Trade talks, benching, criticism all of it. Randle is leading this team if you know it or not. Sorry for the little rant tho

And another thing he’s def not the same Randle coming out of UK.

Ok...

Resign Randle and get PG should be plan A. The guy is in the zone and if he starts smelling playoffs he is only going to get better.

So I think it will play out like this

http://www.shamsport...f740f6013281440

Lonzo

PG

Ingram

Randle

Brook

Kuz

Hart

Deng(Maybe)

Zubac

TB

With 6 mill left in space. If you stretch Deng and waive Zu and TB were looking at 20+ in space to fill 7 more spots. So basically bench players. This is a very likely turnout.

Would love to know how far they got in negotiations. Did his agent send the front office a formal offer and what did it look like? Maybe he'd already be locked up if Deng wasn't on the books.

I wouldn't stretch Deng just to fill out the roster.

Well, some believe it would take one of our key guys - Lonzo, Ingram or Kuzma.

I think you can convince a team to take him for two first round picks. If it were the Lakers that were entering a rebuild, i know i'd want us to pull a move like that i.e. take on bad salary for two first rounders.

This would be awesome but since we wouldn't be players in 2019 free agency in that scenario, i think we might as well do Deng a solid (and stretch him), then spend on a couple of quality players, then re-sign IT at a fair price using his cap hold.

At this rate just get Paul George and round out the team. Randle is becoming too valuable.

If anybody thinks that Bron isn't the first call that will be made you are kidding yourself.

Only way we keep Randle is if he takes a low salary or we strike out on Bron or PG.
