Shelburne: Lakers may choose not to trade Julius Randle, keep him in long-term plans. https://t.co/LBdaLVSVXF

Damn Ramona, ground breaking stuff here. Maybe she should report that water is indeed wet.

Definitely gonna give him a look but he won't control his own destiny.  Will depend on how we do in free agency.

Yeah, this is how I feel. As good as he's played, I still think his limitations really limit the kind of ceiling he has. Elite centers like Embiid are going to dominate him. He's never going to be a consistently good offensive player because he's not elite at the rim and he doesn't have an outside shot. His out-of-control style of play can sometimes negatively shift momentum to the other team.

With the right players around him, I think he's a good player.

Thank You.  I've been saying this for awhile, just not as eloquently.

Good player to have IF you have the other pieces but not a player you go out of the way to build around.

As a starter this season: 16.1 ppg 10.3 rpg 2.8 apg in just 27 mpg.

We should have started him long ago.

elite centers like Embiid dominate...everyone. can you name three people who can stop embiid? three people that aren't superstars like cousins or davis

so it's not fair to use embiid as a knock against randle.

I still cringe every time I see a Randle and Clarkson 2-man game.

He had career highlight games. Embiid had 46 in the first meeting and 33 in the second meeting.

he’s definitely doing enough to garner people’s attention and actual belief in him.

If he continues this kind of play. I wouldn’t mind him sticking around and losing Clarkson.

I think its a foregone conclusion Randle will be a multiple season 20/10 guy maybe as soon as next year.

Here or somewhere else.

Glad he had such an impactful game and that crucial game sealing put back in OT in front of all his hometown peeps.

Thats how these things are supposed to happen with hard work and persistence.

Excited for  1. Lebron! (Still love me some Kobe, but damn this guy is amazing) 2. Another big get (Whether in FA or in a trade we need some attractions and closers) 3. Young Guys making big jump (Assuming we have anyone left after more necessary moves either genius ones or in desperation)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

I doubt it in LA.  No team is going to run the ball through Randle enough to score that much that often until he improves his scoring ability.  Jordan Clarkson could avg 20 if you allowed him to but what would the offense look like?

LA has found what works for Randle and I hope it stays this way and gets better.  If we can get 15/8 or whatever with max effort on defense then its much better than him being in a featured role.

I hope they find a way to keep Randle.  He's done a lot to improve his game and a lot of us have changed our tune on him.  Barring getting Lebron/PG I'd rather LA keep Randle, Ball, BI and Kuz and tool things around those guys.  Im definitely cool with moving on from Clarkson for the obvious reasons.

His pouting antics after being called out by coaches is really getting old. Needs to grow up.

Most of these young dudes get their heads pumped up through their whole career and then come into the league like they are owed everything. They don't even feel that they have to earn it. That's what bothers me.
