I see almost a 0 scenarios where Randle is a Laker in 2018 unless he magically becomes an all star player next season.

Ireland: Julius Randle taking 1000 threes a day

I don't know if u guys heard Ireland a couple of days ago. He mentioned he saw Julius drilling like 20 something 3s in a row. I'm sure it's hyperbole, but I assume Julius was draining them.
Then he asked some assistants who said that's what Julius has been doing. Coming in early and shooting 500 3s then coming back in the afternoon and shooting 500 more.

Great to hear!!!

If only Randle had the aggressiveness of a Charles Barkley. He would do so much in NBA.

He is aggressive. He's just not as mentally sound or skilled.

We've seen the scenario silly. They try to sign all the top guys. Get rejected. There's Randle! We'll know around the all star break one way or another. If they don't plan on resigning him he will surely be traded by the deadline. If he makes it past the deadline he has a good shot of being here in 2018.

im really hoping he plays his way to a max extension. if he becomes worthy of such a contract, then we'll have an all-star player coming off his rookie deal, we'll have his bird rights, and regardless of what happens, we'll have one more asset we can potentially use in a trade.

and it also means we'll be filling a position of need as well. i think its better if our starting and bench four play different styles. randle is more likely to do most of his damage inside and on the boards and some when he stretches the floor a little. if he wants that max extension he'll need to be shooting like 35%ish from three. kuzma would be the opposite. he'll do most of his damage when he stretches the floor and get some down low as well.

I wonder when players take part in these things just how careful they must be if at all. Has there ever been an instance where a player had a major offseason injury partipating in the Drew League or some other league or tournament? Gotta wonder how nervous and unhappy a lot of these organizations are when their players take part in such.

yo.

Paul George when he shattered his leg in that team USA scrimmage.

Still wanted to see him take jumpers and 3s. Try out things, but he still played the same way. Nothing new really changed. Kind of disappointed.

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!
