Some damn good candidates this year for COTY

Excited for  1. Lebron! (Still love me some Kobe, but damn this guy is amazing) 2. Another big get (Whether in FA or in a trade we need some attractions and closers) 3. Young Guys making big jump (Assuming we have anyone left after more necessary moves either genius ones or in desperation)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Lebron James 44/11/11 vs. Ben Simmons 27/15/13

It could be a master vs. disciple showdown in ECF this season too. Warriors not being dominant this year makes it unpredictable, and equivalently exciting.

46 - 34 Pelicans - @ Clippers, vs. Spurs

46 - 34 Spurs - vs. Kings, @ Pelicans

46 - 34 Thunder - @ Heat, vs. Grizzlies

45 - 35 T'Wolves - vs. Grizzlies, vs. Nuggets

45 - 35 Nuggets - vs. Blazers, @ T'Wolves

The red and blue games on the last day of regular season will be insane. Pelicans and Nuggets have the most difficult pair of games. It will be interesting but we may not see one of AD, Towns, Jokic in this playoffs.

My guess is that, Pelicans go 2-0. Spurs go 1-1. Thunder go 2-0. Whoever loses in T'Wolves vs. Nuggets gets eliminated. And probably the playoff matchups will be available on the last day. Blazers and Jazz also have tricky games which could affect the standings drastically.

Also...with steph being out first round (supposedly) would you rather finish 7 or 8?

Think i'd rather play GS and cross fingers

It's officially the "loser goes home" game on Wed between Nuggets and Wolves. It is gonna be epic.

Predictions for first round matchups:

Rockets vs. Wolves / Nuggets (Rockets in 5 but could be an upset too... the season has been hectic enough)

Warriors vs. Spurs (Warriors in 4... but would Kawhi return?! I'm not sure if he is ruled out)

Blazers vs. Thunder (Thunder in 7... Lillard vs. Westbrook epic showdown would be uber epic)

Pelicans vs. Jazz (IMO the toughest matchup. Two defensive juggernaut & Rubio vs. Rondo / Mitchell vs. Holiday. I would pick Jazz in 7 probably)

Pels played above expectations and were tough down the stretch, kudos to Portland valiant effort! GSW on it w/o Curry, equals Spurs Kawhi situation.
