2. Fail to sign any big name free agents in the offseason.
3. Trade for draft pick in the 10-15 range.
4. Start a thread about how the draft pick is the second coming of Jordan and another thread about how we have 4 other future hall of famers despite another 20-30 win season.
5. Start a thread about us signing a big name free agent in 2019
6. Rinse and repeat until we get a competent front office.

15 - 26
That’d be such a massive improvement for us going into next season. If we go 15-26 or anything slightly better that’ll say a ton about our prospects moving forward
I’d be happy with 30/32-52/50 would be such a huge improvement

At this point i want them to just finish as high as possible so as not to give Boston a top 5 pick

Praying for 1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team).
READY FOR SEASON!!!

7 Games behind with 40 games left? Yeah, we have a very real chance. As long as we don't have another 3 game losing streak and get/stay healthy, we can dig our way out of this into the 8th seed.

The game against Grizzlies will tell us if the last 4 games were a fool's gold or not. The only way for this team to move up is by winning against teams that have lesser or similar records.

I'm more in the camp that says as young and inexperienced as we are, not too mention many parts that won't be here a year from now, i can't say for sure who we should and shouldn't beat.
I mean, a few teams are definitely tanking so maybe we 'should' beat them.
But some of our best basketball has come against top tier teams (win against rockets, a couple of OT games against GS) so who is to say.
If we were a middle of the pack team then yeah maybe we're expected to win most games against bottom of league.
But when we ARE the bottom of the league, and there's no good reason to tank...
In fact 2 very good reasons not to tank (losing our pick, needing to persuade FA we are legit)...
I'll take the wins however they come.
This has been a nice 4 game win streak.
Though against the worst of the league, and a spurs team that looked like a spurs summer league squad

All things considered I’ve liked what I’ve seen from the people most important to like what I see from
Ingram and ball
Kuzma and Randle are surprises, very pleasant surprises. Hart is also very surprising
Now in terms of winning. I think KCP is kinda getting himself comfortable which we need if we want any chance of eclipsing 30 wins and we need lopez to just hit shots and score at a respectable clip
Then maybe we can make a push towards 35 wins. But playoffs? Lol I doubt it. Seriously doubt it
A couple teams would have to really nosedive and our youth would have to
A) stay healthy
b) ascend at an accelerated rate. They’ve been elevating but they’d have to make some huge leap, and make that leap almost in unison lol. Ball, kuzma, Ingram, hart, and Randle would all have to take gap jumps to make the playoffs

That’s the big difference between these lakers and last years lakers. Is this year the lakers compete a majority of the time. They just don’t have the horses. But I do believe even with the poor record they’ve shown enormous improvement. I think that’s why they’re starting to win a little more consistently and in a majority of games
