Since the Clippers are probably going to tank now...I'd check with them on their asking price for Lou. I would love to have that guy back.

I would assume he gets acquired by a play-off team.    If I'm the Pelicans, I try to snag him.

I would too but lou didnt seem very interested in being with the lakers anymore due to the rebuilding stuff and tanking.

I think the Lakers were nice enough to trade him to a contender of his choice. But trading him was their idea, not his.

Bringing Lou back would absolutely be the wrong idea...

2-3 is possible. Need to win at New York tho...I’m calling for one win against the Dubs. On Kobe night...they should be without Curry too.

If we get thru December and we’re at the 10-11 seed with an easy schedule ahead of us that’s huge. Tempering my expectations tho...lots of injuries out West and the Thunder are still better than us even by their standards.

I'd like the team to win twice as many games on the road this season as last.

Cant remember last years number but im guessing around 8?

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

It’s down to limiting turnovers and making free throws. Defense is much better but late games that are close seem awkward for this group so far, no take charge player that’s a go to yet maybe BI we’ll see.

Maybe on defense....but then they did add Lopez and make him a starter LOL. But the fact remains that we need multiple knockdown shooters around Lonzo to maximize his effectiveness. KCP is great with his above average two-way play, but his shooting and decision making is just too inconsistent.

The late game slippage have been some part coaching / lineup.
gotta play the hot hand and not toss in cold players.
The last game was executed fine.
That time out to regroup and then are guys running every option in the same play was nice.
Got to keep tht mojo

If you're happy with just player development and winning some games - power to you. But there are a number of us who want more than that. We want player development, winning as many games as we can, and most importantly - a playoff berth. We want this because we know what it will mean for our future.

Consider this - if we can sneak into the playoffs without Paul George or another superstar, imagine what we could do if we can get one or two of them to sign with us?

And once we get in the playoffs, all bets are off. Literally any team can win because there's no way to account for who plays with more heart, who has a better shooting night, whose more well rested, who has less key injuries, who makes more clutch shots, etc.

Not only that, we have a very legitimate chance to make the playoffs this year. Seven teams are fighting for the last three seeds (6-8). Nuggets, Pelicans, Jazz, Thunder, Clippers, Lakers and Grizzlies.

Rudy Gobert is still out for the Jazz, Blake Griffen is out two months for the Clippers, Paul Milsap is out a couple months for the Nuggets. Grizzlies are playing worse than us despite having much more experienced talent.

Right now I'm expecting 6-8 to be Thunder, Pelicans, and Lakers in any order.

What you and other fans want has no effect on reality. This team isn’t designed to make the playoffs and won’t. That doesn’t mean that the season is a waste or a failure. It just didn’t fall in line with your expectations, which only matter to you.

Draymond out?

Did Green grab someone in the nuts again and get suspended?
