Jabari Brown?

I find it curious that analysts and fans expect these rookies to have a high basketball IQ when AAU and one and done doesn't promote fundamentals.

Mike Conley came in as a fast guard2who didn't always see the floor well. Now he is the quintessential point guard.

Forget the flaws and focus on the tangible measurements as well as what type of kid it is.

This guy isn't one and done, he's a senior in college playing for a top 5 coach in college basketball

I wouldn't equate him to a one and done

Jabari Brown was a ball stopper.  Hart has tunnel vision when he drives, but he isn't a ball stopper.  Big difference between them.

Josh Hart Training with Idan Radin

Idan is also known for working with Steph Curry and Chris Paul in their transitions from college to NBA.

The way this guy plays defense he can only play 20 minutes a game. He's a wild man. He would have to have the best motor ever to play like that for 30 minutes or so in the NBA. Holy Crap!!

Pre-draft final verdict on Hart on nbadraft.net:

Outlook: A high character kid with a strong family support system, was an Eagle scout as a youth.. After winning an NCAA title as a junior, and testing the NBA waters the following May, Hart returned to Villanova, and put together a terrific senior campaign ... Hart is a proven winner with a track record of improvement, and hard work ... He fits into the defined NBA role, of a 3 and D type player ... In 4 years of college ball he never shot under 50% as a shooting guard, and I feel Hart’s IQ and work ethic will help him fit on an NBA roster and be willing to contribute from day 1 ... While not a player who is being looked at in terms of high upside, Hart could surprise some people in terms of how early and to what level he contributes early in his career ... Considered a likely 2nd round pick ...

This kid may surprise all of us.

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

I wonder why we didn't just start all our rookies + Ingram and Zu

Ball

Hart

Ingram

Kuzma

Zu

VB will not make an NBA team. Dude is out there clearly trying to pad stats and teams aren't dumb enough to just pick up a player based on your summer league stats. They watch actual film lol.

If i had to guess, Blue starting was more or less a thank you for his brief stint as a laker couple years back and a show of class by the organization.

But hopefully not the entire SL

Hope he plays, wanted to get a better idea of his game and where he'd fit on the roster. He said he tried to convince the trainers to let him play Wednesday, but they said no.
